My Parents
 

Harold O. "Spike" Bergman
June 13, 1916 - September 9, 2000
and
Adaline M. "Pam" Bergman
September 20, 1917 - February 24, 2004

My dad was born in Kimball, Nebraska.
Here is a picture of his high school
football team, circa 1932 or 1933 (he is the kid below his name)

My dad went to college at Colorado University, Boulder,
where he graduated in Civil Engineering
 

Anticipating America's entry into World War II my dad left a civilian engineering job and joined
the Army Air Corps, graduating as a
new 2nd Lieutenant pilot in 1939

At the same time, my mother was at St. Joseph's Nursing College in Denver, Colorado, which is where she met my dad.
